Membership is open to all former employees of Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA), including rangers, wardens, administrative staff, and their families.

Membership Qualifications
Qualifications for UWAT Membership:
Must have retired from TANAPA voluntarily or according to the law (55 to 60 years old).
An employee who previously worked at TANAPA and retired while in another institution following a transfer or Presidential appointment.
Must be willing to cooperate with fellow retirees and adhere to the Constitution and Regulations of the Association.
Must not be a source of violence or conflict within the Association.
