The Tanzania National Parks Alumni (UWAT) is a community of retired employees of Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA). We are united by our shared commitment to wildlife conservation and the preservation of Tanzania's natural heritage.
Our Mission
The main objective of UWAT is to unite TANAPA retirees to collaborate on economic and social matters, and to protect their interests after retirement.

A connected community of alumni actively contributing to conservation education, mentoring the next generation of park guardians, and preserving the rich oral and written history of Tanzania's national parks.
